Ranch Hope is a non-profit organization founded in 1964 by Rev. Dave Bailey and his wife, Eileen. Ranch Hope, Inc. provides treatment and learning environments where "at risk" youth can obtain or regain their long-term academic, behavioral and spiritual focus. Since 1990, Jim has been a strong, in-person supporter of Ranch Hope. He serves as director of the Ranch Hope Boys Choir which has appeared widely in the region, as well as leader of the Ranch Hope Bike Team where he leads them on short training rides and long forays as well. They have done the seven-day, 500-mile "Pedal Pennsylvania" and also have ridden from Washington, D.C., to Pittsburgh. |
